The 34th NBS Premium Ballet Series subscription will offer you priority booking for the best seats of eight distinguished programs performed in Tokyo from May 2025 to July 2026. We are accepting subscribers, which will be stopped as soon as the scheduled subscribers' seats are sold out. For application details, please contact us by email at english@nbs.or.jp.
1) Priority booking ahead of the public
2) Complimentary program books (equivalent to approximately 12,000 yen)
3) Access to an open class of The Australian Ballet (2025)
4) Access to an open general rehearsal of Birmingham Royal Ballet (either The Sleeping Beauty or Cinderela)
5) Priority booking for other performances presented by Japan Performing Arts Foundation (NBS)
Subscription Fees
For the payment of subscription fees for the eight programs, you can choose between lump-sum payment and installed payments. You can pay either by bank transfer or with credit card. For further information for payment method, please contact us at english@nbs.or.jp. Please note that the ticket prices for The Royal Ballet performances are still to be confirmed, and the amount and payment due date will be announced at a later date when the ticket prices are confirmed. Until then, the subscription fees for the first six programs (The Australian Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet and Special Galas) are required to be paid.

It is a premium membership for people who wish to become patrons of the 34th NBS Premium Ballet Series. The total fee of JPY487,000 consists of a membership fee of Category S, JPY137,000, and a donation of JPY350,000. Your donations will directly fund realization of the 34th NBS Premium Ballet Series and will help providing opportunities to a wider audience through various discount tickets including student tickets, and parent and child tickets. The donations are tax-deductible.
In addition to the above subscriber benefits, members of the Ballet Royal Seat will further enjoy;
- The highest level of priority booking
- Invitation to a private party attended by the participating artists at Special Gala (working title) in July/August 2025
- Access to open onstage rehearsals of Birmingham Royal Ballet of both The Sleeping Beauty and Cinderela.
- Complimentary drinks during intermissions on performance dates at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan
- An official receipt for the donation of JPY350,000 will be issued for you to claim tax deduction.
- Publication of your name as a patron in program books (unless you do not wish us to)
