【日本へのメッセージ】ウラジーミル・マラーホフ（ベルリン国立バレエ団芸術監督)

大震災以来、私の想いと心からの気持ちは、勇気ある日本の人々と共にあります。

日本は、私の人生の大半において、私を温かく迎えてくださった国であり、多くの親しい友人や真のファンがいる国です。
そして、あなた方の美しい国にいる時はいつも、東京バレエ団とNBSが私にとって"我が家"なのです。

そして、この数週間で起こった恐ろしい出来事を思うたび、私は日本のために祈り、最も悪い時期はすでに終わったということを願っています。

私はまた、日本がこの痛ましい災害から、より強く、かつてよりもさらに美しい国として立ち上がるだろうということを確信しています。

My thoughts and my deepest feelings are with the brave
and courageous people of Japan these days.

Japan is a country that very warmly welcomed me throughout most of my life,
a country where I have many close friends and many true fans.
Tokyo Ballet and NBS/Japan Performing Arts Foundation are "my home"
whenever I am in your beautiful country.

And when I think of the horrible events of these past weeks -
I pray for Japan and I hope that the worst is already behind.

I am also confident that Japan will emerge from this tragedy even stronger
and more beautiful than ever.
