To my dear fans in Tokyo and beloved audience,
It is with great regret that I have to withdraw from the concert at the Suntory Hall due to a medical emergency. I would like to offer my sincere apologies to the audience, who I was very much looking forward to seeing again.
I also want to thank Maestro Boemi who is stepping in for me and am sure the concert will be a great success.
I hope to see all of you again soon!
My warmest wishes,
Statement from Vittorio Grigolo
I am saddened that Maestro Oren has had to withdraw from the concert. Of course, I fully understand that his health comes first. I wish him a good recovery and hope that he will soon be in great shape again.
I am very happy that Maestro Boemi was willing to step in for Maestro Oren, especially on such short notice. I have known Maestro Boemi for many years and, not only have we always had a wonderful collaboration, we also became close friends.
Thank you also to the entire team of NBS and to the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra for all their efforts and support!
See you soon, I look forward to seeing all of you.
