The Tokyo Ballet: Mizuka Ueno on Stage (March 2024)
The Tokyo Ballet is delighted to present Muzuka Ueno on Stage in March 2024, in Tokyo, Hamamatsu and Yokosuka. The Tokyo performances will be presented as part of the 20th edition of the Spring Festival in Tokyo, one of the largest music festivals in Japan.

The performances will also be presented in celebration of Mizuka Ueno's receipt of the Medal with Purple Ribbon by the Japanese government in Autumn 2023. She was awarded for her long-time contributions to artistic developments, improvements and accomplishments.

The programs will be composed of her favorite ballets including Maurice Béjart's Boléro and Roland Petit's Thaïs from Ma Pavlova to showcase her ever evolving artistry. An excerpt from Don Quixote will also be danced by The Tokyo Ballet. In Hamamatsu and Yokosuka, she will be joined again by Yasuo Atsuji, former Principal of Birmingham Royal Ballet, as a guest dancer.
