The 16th World Ballet Festival: Program Updates and Cast Changes

We are pleased to announce below updates in the programs A and B to be performed at the 16th World Ballet (Friday 13 - Sunday 22 August).

We also announce that it has become necessary to make some cast changes. Under the influence of emigration and immigration restrictions in each country imposed due to COVID-19, David Hallberg, Isaac Hernández, Sarah Lamb, Tamara Rojo and Diana Vishneva are unable to participate in the Festival. Due to injury, Marianela Núñez is unable to take part in. However, we are pleased to inform that Fumi Kaneko (Principal, The Royal Ballet) and Svetlana Zakharova (Principal, The Bolshoi Ballet, only in Program A) will be participating.

We apologize to our valued audiences who have been anticipating the original casting and program, but appreciate everyone's kind understanding for the unavoidable situation.
