We are pleased to announce that Les Ballet de Monte-Carlo, under the directorship of Jean-Christophe Maillot, returns to Japan in November 2022 for the first time since 2015, after an unavoidable cancellation in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Company will bring The Taming of the Shrew choreographed by Jean-Christophe Maillot, based on a quintessential Shakespeare's play, set to the music of Dmitri Shostakovich. Maillot's sophisticated vocabulary elegantly and powerfully draws the humorous and ironical love story with a serious underlying theme―the search for a better half. Don't miss out!
