The Stuttgart Ballet Japan Tour 2022

The Stuttgart Ballet returns to Japan for the first time since 2018. They will bring two masterpieces of the Company: The Sleeping Beauty, a ballet by Márcia Haydée after Charles Perrault, and Onegin, a ballet by John Cranko based on the verse-novel by Alexander Pushkin.

In the tour final performance, Dorothée Gilbert, Danseuse Étoile of the Paris Opera Ballet, will be a guest artist to perform as Tatiana in Onegin, with Friedemann Vogel in the title role.

Ticket information will be announced in November. The tour begins on Friday 11 March 2022. Don't miss it!

* It has become impossible to bring Mayerling, a ballet originally scheduled for the Japan tour, due to severe impact by the pandemic. After discussions with The Stuttgart Ballet, it has been replaced with one of the Company's staple ballets, Onegin. We apologize to our valued audiences who have been anticipating the performance of Mayerling, but appreciate everyone's kind understanding for the unavoidable situation.

*Please note that the tour information as of 13 October 2021 is subject to change especially depending on the COVID-19 situation. For tour updates, please follow our website or social media channels.
